Recent news today indicated that the zongo youth at Ejisu in the Ashanti region just torched the whole station down. The reason for that has been revealed in a post seen on facebook

    Read the post below:

A Zongo guy was arrested in Ejura yesterday for buying a stolen phone.

The person who stole the phone is nowhere to be found, so they detained the guy who bought it.

They woke up this morning to find him dead in the cell. The police didn’t consult the guy’s family and sent the body to the Mampong morgue.

The family went to the station to follow up on the case, only to find out the guy was dead and his body was in the morgue.

All the Zongo people in Ejura pulled up and burned the police station, including the quarters, to ashes!!!! They freed all the prisoners.
