Ghanaian Afrodancehall sensation Aklerh is set to kick off the new year with a fresh sound as she prepares to release her latest single, “Mash Up,” on January 15, 2025. The track, an Afrobeat groove produced by Tubhani Muzik, marks a creative shift for the artist, who has garnered attention for her signature Afrodancehall style.

“My decision to record an Afrobeat song is to express how I feel,” Aklerh explains. “I had the opportunity to work with the wonderful producer Tubhani Muzik, who produced this awesome banger. This beautifully crafted groove is specially dedicated to the young and young at heart.”

The release follows the success of her April 2024 EP, Dancehall Queen, which solidified her status as one of Ghana’s rising stars. Aklerh has also gained recognition for standout performances at major events such as Stonebwoy’s BHIM Beach Concert and Ras Kuuku’s Puomfest, as well as her own headlining show, Queen of the Coast.

With endorsements from icons like Stonebwoy and an ever-growing fan base, Aklerh’s venture into Afrobeat with “Mash Up” signals a new chapter in her evolving career under the Revolution Records label.
