Many dignitaries, including former president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other notable individuals, attended the magnificent celebration in Accra’s Black Star Square to express their solidarity and support. The well-known Ghanaian prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also called Opambour or Prophet One, was among the venerated ministers of God and celebrities who attended the occasion. During the inauguration, Opambour made audacious claims on his spiritual role in a video that has since gone popular on social media. His teachings on faith, divine intervention, and prosperity are disseminated across the country through his television ministry, solidifying his position as

Many people have responded favorably to his assertion that President Mahama’s inauguration will be spiritually strengthened, and many have praised his commitment to making the event a success. The importance of his job has been disputed by others, though, which has fueled more conversations about how religion and government interact in Ghana. As Ghana begins this new chapter under President Mahama’s leadership, the country’s rich religious and political fabric is reflected in the spectacular inauguration and the noteworthy contributions of people like Opambour.
