A 37-year-old missing disabled woman from Oregon keeps calling her family to tell them she is lost but does not know the location she is in.
Erin Nicole Thornton was last seen on December 29 at her home in Fairview, approximately 15 miles from Oregon.
She left her home without her purse, medication and additional clothing. She does not own a car and has no form of income.
The bizarre ordeal has been described by authorities as ‘missing under concerning circumstances.’
On Wednesday January 1, her cell phone pinged in Battle Ground Washington, a two-mile radius near the Walmart.
However, authorities indicated that she does not have any known friends or family in that area.
Thornton has a mental health and a seizure-like medical condition that impacts her mobility, memory and ability to care for herself, and is considered an ‘endangered’ person by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
Police said Thornton contacted her partner several times asking for help, but was unable to provide the person with the location she was in.

MCSO Deputy John Plock told DailyMail.com on Friday the person Thornton has called is ‘a woman named Olivia,’ and she is ‘cooperating and actively helping investigators.’
When DailyMail.com reached out to Olivia, she was unavailable for comment.
Thornton’s mysterious disappearance comes one month after another Oregon woman, Susan Lane-Founier, 61, went missing on November 22 while hiking with her two dogs.
She was found deceased by her friend James Evans, near a Clackamas County highway about four miles from where her truck was parked.
Her husband Michel Fournier, 71, had been charged with her murder.
Evans, who was heartbroken, told KOIN 6, ‘I went down the path, maybe 20 yards. I’ve seen some tarp. I thought it was trash. I bent over to pick up the tarp and as I bent over and came up, I seen a pair of boots connected to a leg.
‘I directly dropped the tarp, backed up, gathered myself together, turned around and went to the lodge and had the office call 911 immediately.
Susan’s death came less than a month after she filed for divorce against Michel, who she was married to for 12 years, according to KGW8.
The October 31 divorce proceeding filed in Clackamas County Circuit Court noted ‘irreconcilable differences between the parties have caused an irremediable breakdown of their marriage.’
Susan, a Brightwood resident known as ‘Phoenix’ by her friends, was reported missing after she failed to show up to work.
On November 23, Susan’s friend told police they saw her white 1992 Ford F-250 parked by the Green Canyon Way Trail, south of Welches. Susan was walking her dogs there.
The Clackamas County Sherriff’s Office launched a search for the missing woman and her two large Malinois-mix dogs on November 24, according to the sheriff’s office.
Susan’s neighbors had expressed concerns for her safety, accusing Michel of being an abusive partner.
On November 24, before Susan’s body was found, Terri Hanley wrote on Facebook: ‘Phoenix was in fear for her and her dogs’ lives, and her home, and the system was working against her. She was afraid and struggling.’
A GoFundMe was created ‘seeking justice and support’ for Phoenix’s sons.’
