The founder of Reign House Chapel International, Prophet Eric Boahen, has prophesied the deaths of many Members of Parliament in 2025.

According to the man of God, many lawmakers will not even complete their first year in the 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

Speaking in an interview with Fifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Prophet Eric Boahen stated that only fervent prayers could avert these deaths.

“Let us pray for our parliamentarians. We need to offer fervent prayers for them. There will be many attacks on them, and we need to pray to God to avert this. There will be many vacant seats in Parliament. Numerous by-elections will be held in 2025 if we don’t pray for our lawmakers. We should beseech God to save and protect them; otherwise, we will lose many of them.

“I’m not saying this to boast. By the grace of God, the things I say come to pass. With all humility, I urge anyone whose relative is a Member of Parliament to pray for them. The attacks have already started in the spiritual realm. Many seats will be vacant, by-elections will be held, and new MPs will occupy those seats,” he said.

The 2024 Ghanaian general election took place on 7 December 2024 to elect Members of Parliament (MPs) to the 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

There are a total of 276 constituencies in Ghana. The 9th Parliament is set to convene on 7 January 2025 to elect a Speaker and Deputy Speakers, as well as administer oaths to the Speaker and Members of Parliament.

One new constituency, Guan, was contested for the first time in this Parliament, bringing the total number of constituencies to 276.
