A lady and her friends received an unexpected show of concern from an elderly woman who was worried about their well-being while engaging in street skating in Lagos.

In a video shared online, the lady @werturah and her friends were practicing street skating when the elderly woman passed by and noticed their activities.

Speaking in the Yoruba dialect, the elderly woman warned them against sustaining an injury that could result in losing their teeth if they fell on the culvert.

In the caption, the lady sarcastically remarked that skating is a lifestyle, referencing a musical line from Asake’s song titled Skating.

While some viewers commended the woman for showing concern as a typical African woman, others advised using a helmet when learning skating.
