The Black Galaxies of Ghana face Nigeria in the second leg of the final round of qualifiers for the 2024 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Uyo.
The Black Galaxies are looking to eliminate Nigeria for the second consecutive time, having edged them out via penalty shootouts in the 2022 qualifiers.
The first leg ended in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium, meaning Ghana will need to avoid defeat in order to qualify for the 2024 CHAN tournament.
Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is confident of victory and has urged his players to give their all to secure a win in today’s match.
Ghana will be aiming for a fifth appearance at the tournament, with their best record so far being four runner-up finishes.
The 2024 CHAN tournament is set to take place in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania in 2025.
