Renowned leadership coach and motivational speaker, Bishop Titi-Ofei, has shared an open letter to President John Dramani Mahama, offering advice and encouragement as he begins his second term in office.

In his message, Bishop Titi-Ofei highlights the rare opportunity President Mahama has to lead Ghana once again and urges him to embrace leadership with purpose.

Bishop Titi-Ofei starts by acknowledging the responsibility that comes with being granted a second chance at the presidency. “Few people are blessed with a second chance at such an influential role,” he writes.

“This moment is not just for politics, but for purpose, a chance to reshape the future of our nation and leave a lasting legacy.”

He continues by stressing the importance of humility in leadership. “I encourage you not to demonize your predecessor but to acknowledge his successes and build on the foundations he laid,” Bishop Titi-Ofei advises.

“Leadership is not about competition; it’s about service. Correct past mistakes with humility and grace. When we lead with integrity, we build trust among all Ghanaians.”

Bishop Titi-Ofei urges President Mahama to focus on improving the lives of the nation’s most vulnerable citizens.

“The heart of any nation is found in how it treats its most vulnerable citizens,” he writes. “The struggling farmer in the north, the market woman battling rising costs—these are the people who need your leadership the most. Listen to their cries and take bold action to lift them out of poverty.”

Listen to their cries and take bold action to lift them out of poverty.”

He emphasizes the need for sustainable change rather than temporary relief. “Create systems that empower entrepreneurs, industrialize, and invest in both urban and rural areas.

“Job creation, support for SMEs, and investing in agriculture are key,” he says. “Your leadership must focus on creating opportunities that will endure for generations to come.”

In closing, Bishop Titi-Ofei urges the President to let his legacy be written not in speeches but in tangible, positive changes to the lives of the people.

“The true measure of leadership is not in the titles you hold, but in the impact you have on the people you serve,” he writes. “Lead with empathy, wisdom, and vision, and you will leave behind a nation united and prosperous.”
