Nearly half of couples are planning to secretly have sex while staying at their in-laws this Christmas.
A new poll reveals people are celebrating this holiday season in the sheets, with 40 per cent admitting to sneaking in a quickie while staying with family.
Despite some people thinking Christmas is too busy to get some action, over 60 per cent of those taking part in the survey say they enjoy more sex during the season.
Reasons for this include feeling less stressed while off work, getting swept up in the romantic atmosphere and feeling closer to loved ones.
The poll by The Sun, which included over 2,000 men and women aged 18 plus, also revealed that Brits are spicing up their festive season sd 50 per cent are hoping for a sex toy as a Christmas present.
Non-monogamy made the top of the naughty list, with nearly half of readers admitting they would be interested in a partner-swapping sexy party.
Results showed that 25 per cent of respondents said New Year’s Eve was their favourite day to have sex during the festive period.
Meanwhile, 45 per cent of those taking part in the survey said they had been having sex one to three times a week during this period.

Of those who said they have ‘kinkier sex’ over Christmas, 30 per cent said they tried a bit of roleplay while 20 per cent said they tried bondage.
Meanwhile, 55 per cent of the sample said they watch porn over the festive period with 30 per cent saying they watch one to three times a week.
On the topic of sex parties, when asked it they had ever gone to one on Christmas Eve or New Year’s eve, 92 per cent said they hadn’t but 47 per cent said they would like to go to one.
Emma Sayle, founder of the dating app WAX, who conducted the research for the newspaper said: ‘It’s so good to see that more people are taking time to nurture their relationships and embrace intimacy during the holiday season.
‘Christmas is about connection, and there’s no better way to bond with a partner than through quality time, relaxation, and yes, even sex.
‘It really is a great time for us to focus on pleasure, reduce stress, and celebrate the things that bring us joy – whether that’s a quiet night getting intimate or exploring something a little more adventurous.’
