One of Europe’s biggest clubs have reportedly made a member of Spain’s European Championship winning team a top target.
Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams was one of the stars of the tournament in Germany this past summer and scored in the 2-1 final victory over England.
He was strongly linked with a move to Barcelona following Spain’s triumph while Premier League clubs Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea were also said to be hovering.
Athletic managed to keep hold of their star winger but interest in the player continues to grow.
And German outlet Bild report that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have now entered the race.
They claim that Bayern will make a serious move for the 22-year-old in the summer transfer window.

It is believed that Williams has a release clause worth as little as £47million (€55m).
Williams finished last season with eight goals and 16 assists in 32 appearances, and helped Athletic Bilbao to a fifth-placed finish, and most importantly, their first Copa del Rey in 40 years.
He hasn’t quite carried his Euros form into this season, contributing two goals and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
His side sit fourth in LaLiga, just five points adrift of leaders Atletico Madrid.
