The Ghana Education Service (GES) has stepped in to help senior high school students who are facing delays in getting their results due to financial constraints. These students will still be able to access university education once their results are released, thanks to a collaborative effort between the GES and the National Accreditation Board ¹.

Here’s how it works: the GES has arranged with the Special Admission Boards of all universities in the country to provide admission to students who have purchased awaiting results forms. This means that as soon as the results are made available, these students can gain entry to university.

Additionally, students can check the status of their results to see if they’ve been withheld or cancelled. If there are any issues, they can raise an appeal at the nearest WAEC office.

This initiative is a huge relief for students who were worried about missing out on university admission due to circumstances beyond their control.
