Unfortunately, 16 people have died as a result of the cholera outbreak in the Western Region so far.

However, the cholera immunization program has seen significant progress from health authorities. On the last day, 556,366 people, or 88.2% of the 641,851 target population, had received the vaccination.

The team from the Justmoh Group of Companies, led by Dr. Justice Amoah, has been instrumental in responding to the situation. The company has shown its dedication to helping the community during this trying time by kindly donating necessary hospital supplies to the key hospitals spearheading the outbreak response operations.

A cholera outbreak that has killed 16 people and afflicted over 1,700 others has been plaguing the Western Region, especially Sekondi-Takoradi, for the past month. in one point, more than 50 cases were reported every day, placing the Kwesimintsim Hospital in the forefront of treatment efforts.

But things have changed for the better since the cholera vaccine was developed. Vivian Zormelo, the nurse manager at the Kwesimintsim Government Hospital, claims that the number of cases has significantly decreased.

This encouraging decrease is a result of the immunization campaign’s success and the diligent work of the area’s medical staff.

We currently have two fresh admissions and 20 new cholera cases. Although nine death instances have been reported, our official count is five because some of the deceased were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

“It’s encouraging to see that there are only two or three new cases reported every day, a significant decrease from previous weeks.” She said.

Dr. Justice Amoah and his staff at the Justmoh Group of Companies have stepped in to offer vital support in the wake of the cholera outbreak. The business has sent vital medical supplies to large hospitals leading the outbreak response because it understands the urgency of the situation.

“This donation is part of the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting efforts to combat the outbreak,” said Eric Kofi Ansah, Group Human Resource Manager at Justmoh Group of Companies.

“Justmoh Companies places a high priority on helping communities in need, even outside of our primary concentration on road construction. We collaborated with hospitals to supply vital medical supplies during the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Similarly, we felt it was necessary to provide our local hospitals with essential supplies to help stop the spread of the disease in response to the recent cholera outbreak, which has tragically claimed lives and affected many.” “Oh,” he said.

On behalf of his colleagues, Dr. Joseph Tambil, Medical Superintendent of Effia Nkwanta Hospital, conveyed his sincere appreciation to Justmoh Company for their kind gesture. He gave them his word that the hospital supplies would be used efficiently to help with the ongoing cholera outbreak control operations.

“We truly appreciate Justmoh’s kind donation. They have consistently shown their commitment to corporate social responsibility by assisting us, and this is neither the first nor the second time. We sincerely appreciate their continued dedication.

You may be sure that these donated goods will be used efficiently for what they were designed to achieve, aiding in our attempts to control and eradicate the cholera epidemic. He gave the business his word that the things would be used properly.
