Former Black Stars goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is passing on his outstanding goalkeeping skills to his son.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb, Adam Kwarasey, who is the International Relations Officer of Kenpong Academy, was spotted training his son in a swimming pool.
Kwarasey, in the video which was shot at the plush residence of business mogul Kennedy Agyapong, alias Kenpong, took his son through some goalkeeping training rudiments.
Since retiring from football, Kwarasey ventured into player management and now serves as the International Relations Officer for Ghana’s fastest-growing football academy, Kenpong Academy.
Under his stewardship, Kenpong Academy has struck up relationships with some clubs in Norway, with talented forward Bossman Afirim Debra joining a club in Norway.
It is also believed that Kwarasey in Ghana currently recruiting four players of Kenpong Academy for clubs abroad.
Recently, Kenpong Academy sealed a cooperation agreement with Danish Premiership side Sonderjyske, requiring the academy to send a team to Denmark annually for a series of training opportunities and exposure to world-class facilities and experience.
Sonderjyske also expressed interest in the immediate recruitment of two players from the Kenpong Academy who impressed during a visit by leading officials of the Danish club, led by its President and Chief Executive Officer, Markus Kristopher Hansen.
The delegation of three was in Ghana from Tuesday, November 31, to Saturday, November 30, during which they visited the Winneba facility of Kenpong Football Academy to observe the operation established by football mogul and reputable businessman Kennedy Agyepong, popularly referred to as Kenpong.
