Members of the Joint Transitional Team have been asked to keep their deliberations in confidence, to ensure a smooth transfer of political power.

Dr Gabriel Gbiel Benarkuu, the President of the College for Community and Organisational Development (CCOD), a private technical university at Sunyani, said trust and truth were required from the transition team.

The President of CCOD in an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA), in Sunyani, urged the team to speed up the process, and called for national unity and peace for the nation to sail through successful change of government on January 7, 2025.

Dr Benarkuu said: “They must not open up their discussions to the media for now, because doing so will not augur well and can frustrate the entire process.”

He asked members of the Transitional Team “to prioritise relationship building, and see themselves as one people with a common vision,” working to build a better Ghana for all.
