Ghanaian attacking midfielder Abdul Rashid Fuseini has been named NK Tabor Sezana’s Player of the Month for November, marking a historic achievement as the first Ghanaian to receive the accolade at the Slovenian club.

The 21-year-old, who joined Tabor on a free transfer in September 2023, impressed with consistent performances in all four league matches during the month.

Fuseini’s efforts helped the Red Blacks remain unbeaten, securing three wins and one draw in the Slovenian Second Football League.

He played a pivotal role in the team’s 2-2 draw with ND Bilje, followed by a commanding performance in a 1-0 victory against NK Krka.

His contributions continued in Tabor’s 3-1 win over Tolmin and another 3-1 triumph against Jadran Dekani, where he played the full match.

Currently, Tabor Sezana sits third in the league standings with 32 points, just one point shy of leader Gorica.

Fuseini has made 14 appearances this season, scoring once, and continues to establish himself as a key player for the team.

A product of Accra Young Wise, Fuseini’s rise from Accra Shooting Stars to Slovenian football showcases his potential as a promising talent on the international stage.
