Some nominees and performers for the Eastern Music Awards 2024
The Eastern Music Awards, recognized as one of Ghana’s most prestigious regional music award schemes, will take place this Friday, December 13, 2024.
The event, which has become a significant fixture in the country’s entertainment calendar, aims to spotlight and celebrate outstanding musical talent from the Eastern Region.
This year’s awards ceremony promises a dynamic showcase of performances, with appearances by acclaimed artists including KK Fosu, Wendy Shay, Ko7, Tee Rhyme, Pappy Jonah, Gyaldem Tish, Kobby Bless, C-Clark, 2Khay, and Emrys. These acts represent a cross-section of the diverse musical styles that define the region’s vibrant music scene.
In addition to musical performances, the Eastern Music Awards is dedicated to recognizing artistic excellence, cultural expression, and innovation. This year’s winner of the coveted Artiste of the Year award will earn the opportunity to perform at the African Music Week in Canada, an initiative by Aim2Impact to provide international exposure to Ghanaian talent.
