Black Maidens head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa announced his final squad on Monday, December 9, 2024, for the inaugural edition of the WAFU Zone B U-17 Girls Cup.

The squad, featuring stars like Latifa Musah, Osman Rafia, Alimatu Mbaba, and Victoria Banful, will have the opportunity to represent Ghana in the tournament for the first time.

To help Ghanaians get to know the players selected for the competition, the Ghana Football Association has released a video showcasing the players introducing themselves and sharing details about the teams they play for. This initiative will help fans become more familiar with the team.

The tournament kicks off at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence (GSCE) on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Ghana has been drawn in Group A alongside Benin and Burkina Faso, although the latter has since withdrawn.

As part of their pre-tournament preparations, the Black Maidens remain unbeaten in three friendly matches against Rootz Sistaz, FC Epiphany Warriors, and Sissamba Ladies.
