Ghanaian analyst, Mussa Dankwah, has described the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) decision to select Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as its vice-presidential candidate as a ‘tactical error”.

The Head of Research at Global InfoAnalytics asserted his outfit presented thorough data to justify the aforementioned claim.

“Choosing NAPO was a tactical error by the NPP. We have given them the data,” he stated, as reported by TV3.

The comments come in the wake of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, conceding defeat to John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In his concession speech on Sunday, December 8, 2024, Bawumia expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for their support throughout the campaign.

“I accept the results of the election and congratulate John Dramani Mahama on his victory. Thank you, Ghanaians, for your faith and support,” Bawumia said during a conference.
