Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has shared her reasons for supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) through her music.

In an interview with Adom TV, Diana Asamoah, a staunch supporter of the party, stated that she believes the NPP’s approach and policies align with her values.

“I live according to God’s word. In my view, the NPP’s approach aligns with biblical values, which is why I write songs in support of the party,” she explained.

As the nation prepares for the general elections on December 7, 2024, Diana Asamoah encouraged Ghanaians to consider the long-term benefits of their choices rather than immediate desires.

She believes that God has promised a prosperous future under the NPP.

“If we prioritize the long-term vision over short-term concerns, we can work towards a brighter tomorrow,” she added.

Her message comes as the country gears up for the 2024 general elections scheduled for December 7.

Vice-President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will be competing against the NDC flagbearer and former President John Dramani Mahama, New Force Movement leader Nana Kwame Bediako, Movement for Change leader Alan Kyerematen, and eight other candidates.
