Popular Kumawood actress cum movie producer Vivian Jill has reassured fans that the Kumawood film industry is far from dead.

In a recent viral interview, Vivian Jill explained that while movies are still being produced, it has become increasingly difficult to get many top actors in the same project due to their individual busy schedules.

“Right now, everyone is busy. Even I am about to start a new project. If you call anyone, they are all busy. I recently worked on a project and tried to reach Nana Ama McBrown, but she was tied up with something else. I called Mathilda, and she was also on set. Last week, I needed another actress, and she told me she couldn’t make it because she was also on set.

“It’s not that there’s an issue with Kumawood or the industry. Everyone is just busy,” she clarified.

Vivian Jill further expressed optimism about the future of Kumawood, revealing plans for a major project that will bring together top industry talents, including Agya Koo and Lil Win.

“It’s just a matter of getting everyone together at once. But we’ll definitely be doing something big to show that Kumawood is still here and thriving,” she added.

Her comments come at a time when concerns have been raised about the state of the Kumawood film industry, with some blaming it on factors such as the economy, lack of support, and even allegations of witchcraft.
