Shatta Wale has wildly alleged that his former manager, Bullgod made him lose a $4 million record deal after his Gif Of God album got leaked.
Speaking in an interview on Kessben FM, Shatta Wale claimed that he had partnered with a record label for that album that featured international artists and that the record label had prepared a comprehensive distribution strategy to promote the album until his former manager leaked the track list.
Pressing on, the controversial musician stated the deal was canceled because Bulldog leaked the songs on the album.
He also claimed that Bulldog’s actions were motivated by personal issues following the termination of their working relationship.
“My GoG album had international collaborations because he was working with me, I woke up one day and that time he had stopped working with me, he (Bullgod) felt he had something to disgrace so he brought that thing out and when he brought that thing out I had a deal with a record label that wanted to give me 4 million dollars so I got pissed and I lost that money because we had done documentations and everything waiting for a roll out.
So after he released it, they called me and asked who released it and I said my former manager and the boss said they cannot further the deal because of what has happened. And it was like three days for them to send me that money,” Wale said.
