Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his disappointment with the party, stating that his “real party” is not represented on the ballot for the upcoming 2024 general elections. He cited the lack of unity within the party as a major concern, making it clear that he no longer feels connected to the NPP .

Professor Frimpong Boateng’s comments came as a surprise, given his long-standing involvement with the NPP. He explained that his family has been associated with the party for years, and he has an emotional attachment to it. However, he feels that the party has taken a direction that he can no longer support .

The professor also mentioned that he’s facing personal and professional challenges within the party, including ongoing legal disputes with some of his own party members. This has further contributed to his sense of disconnection from the NPP .
