The 2024 Praise Achievement Awards celebrated and honoured a wide range of outstanding gospel musicians and stakeholders across Ghana.
While many artistes were recognised for their excellence, media personalities, and shows were also acknowledged for their significant contributions to the gospel music industry in the country.
Mr. David Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer of AfricaWeb, had the honour of presenting two prestigious awards at the event.
Mr. Antwi, who oversees Ghana’s leading digital news portal, GhanaWeb, presented the awards for Christian Radio Program of the Year and Christian Television Program of the Year.
The Sonny TCA Gospel Countdown by Nii Noi and Asemb Morning Show on Pent TV took home the respective honours.
The third edition of the Praise Achievement Awards, held on November 24 at the Perez Dome in Accra, saw Nacee emerge as the biggest winner of the night, taking home five awards, including Most Engaged Song of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Artiste of the Year, and Artiste of the Year.
Other notable winners included Piesie Esther was awarded Female Artiste of the Year, while Scott Evans claimed Urban Gospel Artiste of the Year.
Queendalyn Yurglee was named New Artiste of the Year, and Piesie Esther also took home the Best Music Video of the Year award for her song “Mo.”
In the vocal categories, Lordina the Soprano and Siisi Baidoo were honoured as Female Vocalist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, respectively.
The event celebrated the incredible talent and contributions of gospel artistes and industry figures who continue to shape the landscape of gospel music in Ghana.
