The Ghana Golf Association is set to organize an event dubbed “The Corporate Women and Golf: The Myths and Benefits of the Sport.”
The conference, which will be held on November 29, aims to create awareness about the sport and the benefits it offers to corporate women.
The GGA hopes that the conference will expose women to benefits such as networking, personal growth, and business development.
Mrs. Elsie Addo Awadzi, the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana; Dr. Esther Amedzro, a renowned pharmacist and golfer; and Adwoa Asare Asamoah are expected to speak at the event.
Speaking ahead of the event, the President of the Ghana Golf Association, Leonard Kwaku Okyere, said, “We are excited to host this event, which aims to empower corporate women through golf. We believe that golf can be a powerful tool for personal and professional development, and we look forward to introducing more women to the sport.”
