Vanessa Feltz‘s former toyboy fiance has appeared in court accused of harassing a woman.
Singer Ben Ofoedu, 54, is said to have breached a court order within days of it being imposed against him by reposting a YouTube video which named the woman.
The non-molestation order had been imposed against the Phats & Small star by a family court at the request of a woman who cannot be named last May.
Ofoedu, who was engaged to 64-year-old TV star Feltz for some 16 years before they finally split, pleaded not guilty at Croydon Magistrates’ Court during a brief hearing on Tuesday morning.
The YouTube video he shared is said to have directly identified the woman complainant – and was posted just 17 days after the order was made against him.
Dressed in a dark blue suit and sky-blue tie, he stood in the dock to confirm his name, address and date of birth during the hearing.
He told the court he wanted his case to go to trial at Crown Court and judge Nicola Fleck agreed to this adding his next appearance would be on December 1 in London.
No further details of the case were read out in court and he was granted unconditional bail.

After the hearing Ofoedu told the Daily Mail he was hoping for a ‘speedy end to the situation’ adding that what he had been accused of was ‘trivial’ compared to other crimes.
Ofoedu lives in Carlisle, Cumbria, where he had previously appeared before magistrates on the same matter.
Despite finding himself being investigated by the police last June, Ofoedu married his girlfriend, local businesswoman Vanessa Brown, the following month.
He and Feltz split up three years ago after he admitted being unfaithful to her while on tour with his band in Ibiza, sleeping with one woman while also sexting a fan.
Shortly after they split up Ofoedu spoke to the Daily Mail at the Boyzone: No Matter What premiere and revealed: ‘We haven’t made peace, and I don’t speak to her.’
Of Feltz’s memoir, in which she described the breakdown of their relationship, he added: ‘She wrote some terrible things about me in her book, and I felt there was no need for it.’
Ofoedu went on to say he thought Feltz had handled their breakup with ‘incredibly bad taste’ and ‘with no class at all’.
He said: ‘I would rather not have anything to do with her. We were together for 17 years and the way she spoke about me in her book just shows me I’m incredibly glad not to be in her life any more.’
Ofoedu has also had legal battles in which he is the complainant: in 2023 he reported a woman for stalking him.
She is said to have rung him up to 100 times a day and taken selfies outside his home.
