A Los Angeles FC fan was caught committing a vile act towards a female rival fan during Sunday’s game.
LAFC faced their crosstown rivals, LA Galaxy, in an MLS matchup at the weekend with the two sides battling to a tense 2-2 tie.
And tensions were clearly also running high in the stands as one LAFC supporter’s argument with rival fans descended into shocking scenes.
The man was caught spitting onto a woman seated in the row in front of him in a series of videos shared to Instagram by @stpierre.
In the first clip, the man was seen arguing with the woman, who sported a Galaxy jersey, and the men seated either side of her.
As she attempted to de-escalate tensions and turned her attention back to the on-field action, the man could be seen mouthing, ‘stupid b****,’ in her direction.

In the following video, the still irate LAFC fan was captured leaning mover and spitting onto the woman in front of him.
The woman does not appear to immediately realize what he has done with the clip cutting off just as she begins to turn around to confront him.
The video has swiftly gone viral across social media with many soccer fans hitting out at the man for the vulgar act.
‘Can confirm that LAFC fans have zero class. Embarrassing ass club, nice stadium though,’ one soccer fan wrote on X, replying to the video.
‘Horrendous Behavior,’ another posted. ‘This poorly represents what our fanbase is.’
‘Spitting on someone over an MLS game is crazy work lmao,’ a third added.
A fourth said: ‘Spitting on people is the lowest someone can go shows they have zero class.’
Meanwhile, multiple other soccer fans called for the spectator in question to be banned by LAFC and MLS from future games.
