A father-of-two who was killed after a car driven by a pensioner crashed into a Lidl has been pictured.
James Singh Jagpal, 39, died after a dark blue Renault ZOE smashed into the supermarket in Wolverhampton shortly before 6pm on Friday, October 23.
West Midlands police, ambulance and fire services rushed to the area but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the EV, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital but has since been released and the police have said she will be spoken to by the force in ‘due course’.
Paying tribute to Mr Jagpal, his family praised the father from Wolverhampton for his ‘kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humour’.
In a statement, the family said: ‘A much-loved son and brother, devoted partner of over 20 years and loving father to two wonderful daughters.
‘Known for his kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humour, James was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
‘James was the absolute centre of our world, and it is unimaginable how we will navigate life without him by our side.’
