The video which has left alot of Ghanaians teary-eyed, shows the late actor expressing his displeasure at the current NDC party executives.

The host of the morning show, Prince Kwaw Gyimah, confirmed this in an interview on Adom FM’s Kasiebo is Tasty.

Recounting the incident, Mr Gyimah said the actor had arrived at the station on his own and was preparing to participate in the morning programme, Oman Nkosuo.

He said the discussion began at about 8:45 a.m., but the situation took a sudden turn shortly after they went on air.

“Kwame Dzokoto was on Oman Nkosuo on Owass FM in Tarkwa. He drove himself to the studio, and we started the discussion at about 8:45 a.m. Shortly afterwards, we realised he was becoming unwell, so we had to suspend the programme,” he recounted.

According to Mr Gyimah, they quickly arranged to take the actor to the hospital for medical attention.

“We rushed him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival,” he said.

In September 2026, the actor addressed public speculation about his health after a public appearance prompted concerns among some fans.

In an interview, he dismissed rumours of his death at the time and spoke about health challenges, including high blood pressure and diabetes.

He also disclosed that he had undergone surgery abroad with financial support from businessman Ibrahim Mahama.

Kwame Dzokoto was a familiar face in Ghana’s entertainment industry, particularly for his role as Judge Koboo in the popular television series Efiewura.
