The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, continues his campaign tour of his party’s ‘world bank’, the Ashanti Region.

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, Dr. Bawumia, also the vice president of Ghana, pulled what is believed to be the greatest number to his Ashanti regional tour at the Effiduase-Asokore Constituency.

Tens of thousands of NPP supporters and sympathisers gathered at the rally grounds to welcome the vice president and his campaign team.

The coordinator of the event, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, was shocked by the number of people who attended the rally.

The entire rally ground was painted with the colours of the ruling New Patriotic Party. Almost every attendee at the event donned the paraphernalia of the NPP, wielding either the flag of Ghana or that of the party.

Addressing the rally, the NPP presidential candidate shared his ideas and proposed policies and programmes to boldly move Ghana into the 21st Century.

The vice president urged the crowd to vote for him and the party’s parliamentary candidate.
