Josh Allen is facing accusations of ‘flopping’ over his theatrical reaction to being bumped by Patriots star Dre’Mont Jones.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback has come under fire after a clip emerged showing Jones brushing into Allen at the end of a play.
The incident occurred in the Patriots’ dramatic 29-26 victory over Allen and Co at Buffalo’s new Highmark Stadium.
A clip of Allen’s antics went viral on social media. It shows the quarterback throwing the ball before his momentum carries him toward the sideline.
As Allen looks downfield, Jones bumps into the quarterback, prompting the Bills star to throw his head back and drop dramatically to the floor before turning to the officials.
The footage did not go down well with NFL fans, many of whom accused Allen of ‘flopping.’ One supporter called his reaction ‘disgusting,’ while several suggested the referees should have penalized the quarterback.
