The rematch the Pacific Northwest has been clamoring for is just hours away. Both Murphy and McDonald weighed in last evening. On Saturday, October 3, at Legends Casino Hotel, Andrew Murphy and Devontae McDonald will once again meet in the ring. Will it be a repeat of revenge?
Murphy vs. McDonald, as well as the whole card, will be live on TikTok at royjonesjr.world, and the RJJ World YouTube channel rjj-world. The show begins at 10 pm ET / 7 pm PT.
The unique “Live Fan Interactive Scoring” will be available on both.
“My soul focus has been October 3,” said Murphy. “I’m looking forward to making sure that all the talk is shut down. I’m going to do my talking in the ring not on the microphone so I’m ready to make it happen Ready to give the fans what they want to see.”
“I’ve spent two years preparing for this moment,” said McDonald. “Every mile, every round, every sacrifice has been building toward October 3rd. He may think this is just another fight, but for me, it’s unfinished business. I’m not looking for another decision—I’m looking to make a statement. When that bell rings, there won’t be any excuses, no questions and no doubt. I’m coming to hurt his ego, take his pride and give Yakima a night to remember.”

In January 2024, Murphy (with Roy Jones, Jr. in his corner) and McDonald fought in an eight-round super middleweight bout in the main event at Legends Casino Hotel. The final round was heavy handed, non-stop action. Murphy won by decision and afterward said, “We both decided (without actually saying it) to let our hands go to see if we could withstand each other.” They were both standing at the final bell, in front of a raucous crowd, albeit bloody and bruised.
The live stream will be accompanied by LIVE FAN SCORE, powered by PunchIQ. FAN SCORE is a digital platform that allows viewers to score boxing matches, round-by-round, in real time during the live stream. Viewers are able to score each individual round of a boxing match as it happens and comparing ones’ personal scorecard with the ‘community,’ to see how others view the fight. All scoring will be displayed
