Piesie Esther has opened up about her marriage, describing her husband, Enock Asiedu, as a major source of support in both her personal life and gospel ministry.
Speaking during an interview with Abena Kyei Boakye on UTV, the award-winning gospel musician said marriage had brought blessings to her family and ministry, particularly because of the understanding and support she receives from her husband.
According to Piesie Esther, her husband is a man of God who understands the demands of her calling and plays an active role in ensuring that her projects are successful.

“Marriage has been a blessing to me, to my ministry, and to my family. God has blessed me. God has blessed me with a helpful and supportive husband—a man of God who understands the calling of God,” she said.
She recalled that her husband initially had little interest in songs composed by female musicians before they got married. However, she said his attitude has since changed, with him becoming deeply involved in supporting her musical work.
“Before we got married, my husband said he didn’t like songs composed by women, but the tables have now turned. It has truly been a blessing,” she recounted.

Piesie Esther also shared how seriously her husband takes her projects, revealing that he sometimes stays awake through the night to make sure everything is properly organised.
“My husband doesn’t sleep when we have a project ahead. I can sleep and snore, but he will still be up, making sure everything is in order. Let me cut it short: it has been a blessing,” she said.
Beyond the practical support she receives, Piesie Esther spoke about the role of prayer and humility in sustaining a marriage.
She encouraged women to seek God’s guidance in becoming submissive wives, stressing that a woman’s position or achievements should not prevent her from respecting her husband.
“It is necessary to pray to God to help you become a submissive woman, even if you hold a higher position,” she stated.
The gospel singer acknowledged that disagreements are inevitable in marriage, but said she and her husband have been able to resolve their differences whenever tensions arise.
“I respect my husband very much. I can never shout at my husband. Sometimes, we argue and become angry, but thanks be to God, we always settle our differences and arrive at the same understanding,” she said.
Piesie Esther further gave an insight into the affectionate names she uses for her husband, saying she calls him “my lord, honey, Kofi, and Honourable.”
