TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp has said she is ‘thrilled’ as she revealed her stolen Land Rover Defender has been found.
Ms Allsopp, 55, took to social media to reveal the London theft on Monday, just weeks after she broke her leg in a fall.
The Location, Location, Location host joked that the blue vehicle was ‘probably in a container en route to Timbuktu by now’.
She said at the time the theft added ‘insult to injury’ – quite literally given her recent airlift to hospital after falling during a family holiday to Devon.
Allsopp also shared a photo of the hybrid car marked ‘Norland’, a neighbourhood in the north-west of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in west London.
But on Wednesday morning she shared a positive update with her followers that her vehicle had been found.
Thanking both the Met Police and attributing the find to Land Rover’s individual car trackers, she joked about the viral media coverage the incident had received.
Writing her own mock headline, she posted: ‘Thrilled Kirstie Allsopp thanks Land Rover tracker and Met Police for finding car.’

She previously told followers the car was the only vehicle she is able to ‘comfortably travel in’ since surgery for a broken leg after a slip on a ‘muddy patch on a steep path’ at a beach in Devon.
The presenter also joked she and husband Ben Anderson had purchased AirTags and trackers for the vehicle, but they were ‘still in their box’ at home.
She married property tycoon Mr Anderson in Mayfair in January 2025 after more than 20 years together. They have two sons – Bay, 20, and Oscar, 18.
Following her accident, Ms Allsopp shared images from her hospital bed including X-rays, and said it took ‘a whole host of people’ to find her so an air ambulance could take her to the hospital.
She said her family were celebrating her birthday at her holiday home Meadowgate and had enjoyed a picnic on the beach at Welcombe Mouth before the incident.
Land Rover thefts were becoming a major issue for the Coventry-based company in the years immediately after the pandemic, with a peak of 7,136 stolen in 2023.
But the total has fallen since then – to 5,455 in 2024 and 3,939 in 2025.
Bosses have put the decline down to security improvements such as software updates, better key protection and more collaboration with police.
