Some Ghanaian football fans have aired their grievances against the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, following the team’s 1-1 draw with Angola in the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

According to them, the coach is not competent or experienced enough to handle the Black Stars job due to his poor tactical approach to games, which has led to abysmal results.

Others also fumed about how he uses some of the foreign-based players like Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, and others who dazzle for their respective clubs but fails to replicate the same performance for the Black Stars.

Following Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2025 AFCON, these aggrieved football fans are calling for the dismissal of Otto Addo so a new coach can take over, as the team prepares for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

After Ghana’s draw against Angola, the team sit at the bottom of Group F with no wins after five games, losing two and drawing three.

The four-time African champions have three points; hence, their final game against Niger on Monday, November 18, 2025, will only be a formality.

Angola, who have already qualified, have increased their tally to 13 points, while Sudan and Niger follow with 7 and 4 points, respectively.
