Red Owl Boxing today announced the addition of six new bouts for its championship live event in El Paso, Texas on Friday, Oct. 2.

Tickets for the “Red Owl Boxing Presents: Boxfest XXI” championship event at El Paso County Coliseum are on sale at Ticketmaster.com.

The previously announced eight-round title bout and main event, which will mark the first time in promotional history that Red Owl Boxing hosts a women’s championship fight, will see undefeated Melanie Timko (5-0) of Omaha, Nebraska square off with former world championship challenger Naomy “Kusa” Cardenas (10-2, 2 KO’s) of Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico with the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) North American Boxing Association (NABA) super flyweight (115 pounds) strap at stake.

In the previously announced co-main event, undefeated Deonte “Lay ‘Em Down” Brown (18-0, 11 KO’s) of Morgan City, Louisiana will take on hard-hitting Leonardo Padilla (25-7-1, 17 KO’s) of Petare, Venezuela via Miami, Fla. in a super featherweight (130 pounds) scrap.

Among the six new bouts announced today for the show were three main card contests including a featherweight (126 pounds) clash between Jeremy “Magic Hands” Adorno (10-1, 6 KO’s) and William Holcomb (5-1, 2 KO’s).

The 25-year-old Adorno of Kissimmee, Fla. is a Puerto Rican native and former Top Rank roster competitor who recently signed with Red Owl Boxing.

Fighting out of Chicago, Ill., the 36-year-old Holcomb will seek his third straight victory after a successful return to the ring in June when he defeated Joshafat Ortiz by way of unanimous decision. The fight with Ortiz was Holcomb’s first since 2023.

Also announced today was a light heavyweight (175 pounds) main card matchup between undefeated Kumar Prescod (4-0-1, 4 KO’s) and Christian Juresic (3-3, 1 KO).

At just 19 years of age, Prescod of Antioch, Calif. is a former, four-time national amateur champion who has stopped four of his five professional opponents to date, while the 32-year-old Juresic of Cleveland, Ohio is a former Cleveland Golden Gloves amateur champion.

In another featherweight fight announced today, former 12-time national amateur champion turned unbeaten pro, Eric Martinez (1-0, 1 KO), of Reading, Pennsylvania will battle Rasuiod “The Prime” Hollie (1-5, 1 KO) of Dallas, Texas.

One of three preliminary card bouts announced today will pit two undefeated prospects – Ever Moises Rodriguez (5-0, 4 KO’s) of Juarez, Mexico against Eusebio Maldonado (3-0, 1 KO) of Wichita Falls, Texas – against each other in a super featherweight showdown.

In a super welterweight (154 pounds) undercard fight, El Paso native Sebastian Martinez (1-0, 1 KO) has been matched with Andre Johnson (2-7-1, 2 KO’s) of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Undefeated knockout artist Devon Marquis Garcia (5-0, 4 KO’s) of Las Cruces, N.M. will meet Dennys Revilla Landaeta (1-3, 1 KO) of Elgin, Ill. in a welterweight (147 pounds) tilt.

The ‘Boxfest XXI’ main card will stream live on DAZN, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT. The preliminary card will stream live on Red Owl Boxing’s YouTube channel, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/6 p.m. MT.

Additional fights for the “Red Owl Boxing Presents: Boxfest XXI” event will be announced soon.
