Anidaso Mutual Fund PLC recorded significant growth in 2025, with its net assets rising by 47.7% from GH¢4.27 million to GH¢6.31 million.

The Fund’s net asset value per share also increased by 27.16%, moving from GH¢1.3227 in 2024 to GH¢1.6820 in 2025.

The figures were disclosed at the Fund’s 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kumasi.

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Most Rev. Archbishop Prof. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, attributed the performance largely to stronger investment earnings, particularly from equities.

Investment income increased by 22.96% to GH¢563,064, while dividend income surged by 134% to GH¢93,522.

Unrealised investment gains also recorded a sharp increase, rising from GH¢149,020 in 2024 to GH¢940,434 in 2025.

Chief Executive Officer of New Generation Investment Services (NGIS) Limited, Edward Asamoah, said equities accounted for about 30% of the Fund’s net assets, while fixed-income instruments represented approximately 50%.

He said the investment mix provided a balance between capital appreciation, income generation and liquidity.

Mr Asamoah further said the Fund had delivered approximately 360% cumulative returns to shareholders since its inception and encouraged individuals to consider investing with the company.

“The fund is very formidable and it was registered in 2024 and has gone through a long way up to this time and despite the market problems we experienced over the years, the fund still is performing.”

He said the performance reflected the strength of the Fund’s corporate governance structures and its compliance with regulatory requirements.

“This shows that the corporate governance structures for the fund is very solid so we do everything according to the laid down rules by the regulators. That’s how come we’re able to withstand all the challenges the economy has faced over the years. So we encourage everyone to invest for better returns,” he noted.

    Improved economic conditions

The Fund’s 2025 performance came against the backdrop of improved macroeconomic conditions in Ghana, including economic growth, lower inflation, easing interest rates and significant appreciation of the cedi.

The domestic stock market also recorded strong growth during the year, supporting equity-exposed investment portfolios such as Anidaso Mutual Fund.

Investor participation also strengthened, with proceeds from share issues increasing by approximately 89%, from GH¢784,309 to GH¢1.48 million.

Custodian of the Fund and representative of Ecobank PLC, Carl Benjamin Hammond, assured investors that the Fund’s assets and cash were properly safeguarded and kept separate from the company’s own funds.

“We stand in as the gap to ensure that assets and the cash of the fund is protected and investors and shareholders, both existing and prospective shareholders, benefit from their investments,” he said.

Meanwhile, shareholder Nana Ama Serwaa, who has invested with the company since 2024, said she was satisfied with the returns generated from her investment.

“I’ve been a part of this investment company since 2024 and honestly, I’m very much impressed with the returns that I have gained on my investment. That is why I confidently will continue working with this company and if you’re out there looking for a place to invest, you need to come to NGIS,” she said.

Anidaso Mutual Fund is an open-ended Collective Investment Scheme licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission and managed by NGIS Limited.

The Fund, incorporated on August 22, 2004, invests in equities, money-market instruments and other eligible securities.

    Cautious outlook

Despite the strong performance recorded in 2025, management says it remains cautiously optimistic about the Fund’s prospects.

It noted that the exceptional returns recorded on the equity market during the year may not be repeated, while declining interest rates could also reduce returns from money-market investments.

The Fund’s strategy will therefore continue to focus on fundamental analysis, diversification, disciplined risk assessment and long-term value creation.

Management also plans to intensify investor education and engagement while expanding the use of digital channels to grow the Fund’s asset base.
