Dramatic video showed the moment a pregnant teenager begged bystanders to rescue her from a wrecked car following a crash that killed the driver.

The miracle survivor, identified as Hanna Valadez, 19, was sitting in the passenger seat when the driver lost control and slammed into a truck on a highway in the central Mexican city of Zapotlán de Juárez on Wednesday.

A preliminary report indicated that the male driver, whose name has not been released, accelerated on the shoulder and did not notice that the truck was parked.

A video showed gas station workers using fire extinguishers on the mangled vehicle after it burst into flames while the young woman remained inside.

Separate footage showed Valadez’s face smeared in blood and pleading with bystanders to ‘please’ help her.

‘Hanna, take a deep breath. Focus on yourself,’ a person the background can be heard telling the teen.

‘The emergency services are going to arrive soon.’

Another witness, who identified himself as a police officer, then stepped forward and began to remove some of the parts dangling near her head.

He stopped when struggling to pry open the door.

Valadez grew restless by the second as she begged the off-duty officer and those around him to pull her out before first responders arrived.

A motorist on the scene told a cop that he had seen the driver of the car speeding past him.

‘He was flying. He passed me about three minutes ago. He was coming very fast,’ the witness said.

Another claimed the driver had topped at ‘180, 200’ kilometers per hour, or between 111 to 124 miles per hour.

Valadez was rushed to Pachuca General Hospital.

The extent of her injuries are unknown, but the Hidalgo state prosecutor’s office said that she was in stable condition.

At least 377,321 vehicular accidents were reported across Mexico in 2023, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography.

The northeast state of Nuevo León topped the list with 76,115 accidents, while the central state of Tlaxcala was at the bottom of the list with 929 incidents reported.
