Ghana’s 2020 Olympic Games medalist, Samuel Takyi, and reigning IBF African Featherweight Title holder, Holy Dorgbetor, are set to feature in respective bouts at the Street 2 Champions event on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Center Point Mall in Accra Ghana.

Samuel Takyi, known by his ring name “The Ring Warrior,” will take on Emmanuel Quartey in an 8-round lightweight bout.

Meanwhile, Holy ‘Jaw Breaker’ Dorgbetor will face Benin boxer Aliou Clement Loko in the headline bout with the IBF African Featherweight title on the line.

Other boxers on the bill include 2023 African Games gold medalist Mohammed Aryettey, as well as the son of legendary boxer Kelvin Azumah Nelson.

Samuel Takyi, Holy, and Aryettey took part in an open workout session on Monday, November 11 at the Center Point Mall in Accra.

The Street 2 Champions bout night will feature many amateur boxers participating in three events, starting from the round of 16 for each weight division.

The tournament aims to give young street boxers a shot at their dream of becoming professional boxers.
