The Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) returns to the great country of Ukraine, when the UBO International Cruiserweight title is on the line on September 20 in Obukhiv, not far from Kyiv.
In the main event of a card promoted by Spartabox in association with Top Boxing Generation, local hero Oleksii “Viking” Zhuk will take on Adam Kolarik from Czechia for the vacant title.
This is a fight with entertainment guaranteed, as both men are known for their all-action style. None of them have glossy records, but they are tough warriors who will give it their all.
Zhuk (7-5, 5 KOs) turned professional in 2017, and lost three of his first five before winning seven of his next nine, losing only in national title fights.
The 37-year-old puncher has won his last three by stoppage, and is ready for a grand home-coming against an opponent who is well known in Ukraine.
Kolarik (10-11, 7 KOs) gave undefeated Oleksandr Hrytsiv (7-0) all he could handle in their 2024 fight in Lviv, before losing a decision.
He has proven several times that records are just numbers, and it would not be the first time if he goes into his opponents back-yard and gets the victory.
In 2022 he beat Armend Bukaku (3-0) in Germany, in 2023 he beat Elbasan Hajzeraj (5-0) in Switzerland, and in 2025 he defeated Adrian King (5-0) in the UK and Thorbjorn Boudigaard (8-2) in Denmark.
The Zhuk vs. Kolarik UBO championship headliner will be preceded by a well-matched undercard featuring local talent.
