Asda‘s website has been out of action leaving thousands of Brits unable to access their orders and rewards online.

Issues were first reported at around 3pm, according to some customers, who claim they have struggled to use the app.

There have been more than 1,000 complaints recorded, according to Downdetector.

One customer said: ‘I can’t seem to log into my Asda account? It keeps saying something went wrong?

‘How are we supposed to do an online shop if we can’t even log into the account?’

Asda’s website has been out of action leaving thousands of Brits unable to access their orders and rewards online

Downdetector tracks outages, claiming that ‘user reports indicate problems at Asda’.

Online shoppers nationwide, including people in Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, London and Plymouth have all allegedly been impacted by the outage, according to The Sun.

Some customers complained that the outages are ‘becoming too regular a thing’.

‘I have been signed out of my Asda app for some reason and now it won’t accept my, very definitely correct, password,’ one said.

‘These problems are becoming too regular a thing.’

An Asda spokesperson said: ‘Due to a global issue affecting multiple businesses, our online shopping website was unavailable for approximately an hour earlier today.

‘We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we would like to reassure our customers that they are now able to shop with us as normal.’
