Varying reactions followed the viral video of the bridal items generously paid for and bought by a bridegroom during a wedding event.

Uploaded to TikTok by the bride @goldensavage1 with the caption “Hubby paid in full”, the video shows off the several heap of yams numbering to hundreds.

Basins of beans, bags of rice, palm oil and other assorted foodstuff were included in the package to the surprise of viewers and glee of the bride and her family.

The pretty Etsako (Benin) bride in excitement was seen dancing around the mounted canopies as the wedding ceremony went on.

Netizens were both impressed and jealous of the substantial dowry display, hailing the husband for going all out for his wedding.

Others belittled the doings, citing terrible instances of marriages like that that didn’t last.
