Ghanaian Kumawood actor Abraham Kofi Davis, popularly known as Salinko, has married his new wife, Lydia Arthur, on November 9, 2024, in an exclusive ceremony.

The actor, whose previous marriage to Nancy Owusu ended two years ago, was captured in a viral social media video walking down the aisle with his new sweetheart.

The ceremony, held at the Ascension Methodist Church in Haatso, Accra, was attended by several figures from the Kumawood industry.

Among the guests were Matilda Asare, Don Little, Big Akwes, and many others, all there to show their support for their colleague.

Popular gospel musician Piesie Esther was also in attendance and delivered a thrilling performance that energized the crowd.

Salinko and Lydia were later seen joyfully dancing together to one of Piesie Esther’s hit songs, marking a celebratory moment of their union.

    Salinko’s ex-wife remarries

About three months ago, Salinko’s ex-wife, Nancy Owusu, remarried, just a year after her divorce from the Kumawood actor.

In viral videos shared online, Nancy was seen with her new husband, both dressed in their colourful wedding attire and beaming with smiles.

    Background

In May 2023, news of Salinko and Nancy’s divorce went viral on social media.

In an interview with Poleeno Multimedia, Salinko explained that his ex-wife ended the marriage, citing being “fed up” as the reason for their separation.
