Elrad Amoako, The 16-year-old son, was remanded today following a Juvenile Court hearing in Accra related to a recent fatal accident at East Legon.

His placement at the Osu Boys Home was mandated by the court, along with detailed guidelines for his care and custody while he was under remand.

The teen’s Ghanaian and US passports must be turned over to the court by Monday, November 4, 2024, as part of his bail requirements. In order to make sure that any health issues are swiftly handled, he will also get a medical examination at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on the same day.

The court further directed that he be sent to the Police Hospital for prompt medical attention in the event that he experiences any urgent medical problems while on remand.

The court’s intention to preserve his custody and welfare is demonstrated by this thoughtful arrangement.More information about the accident case is anticipated to be reviewed during the boy’s upcoming court hearing.
