Candy Soccer Academy and Supreme Ladies maintained their unbeaten runs in the ongoing Regional Championships in Tamale after recording impressive victories in their respective matches.

At the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Candy Soccer Academy cruised to a convincing 3-0 win over Chiewia Ladies. The Dormaa-based side dominated proceedings and opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Chiewia defender Sumaya Sulley inadvertently turned the ball into her own net.

Candy Soccer continued their strong display after the break, with Priscilla Nyarko and Yaa Nichelle scoring within two minutes of the restart to seal an emphatic victory and preserve the team’s perfect start to the competition.

Meanwhile, Supreme Ladies edged Dakpemah Ladies 3-1 in an entertaining contest at the Tolon Astro Turf. Ruth Ayayee opened the scoring with a long-range strike in the 17th minute before Ummul Khaira equalized five minutes later for Dakpemah Ladies.

Supreme Ladies quickly regained control as Gifty Wepia capitalized on a defensive mistake to restore the lead. Monica Afriyie added a third on the stroke of halftime to hand the Kumasi-based club a comfortable advantage heading into the break.

In the final game, Nasara Ladies secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bolga Sharp Arrows. Joyce Awane scored twice for Bolga, but late substitute Rukaya Abdul Karim netted the decisive goal for Nasara Ladies.

The Regional Championships continue on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
