Debibi United head coach Isaac Nii Armah says his side is fully focused and prepared ahead of their crucial Division One League playoff against Tamale City FC.

The decisive encounter is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, May 13, with the winner earning qualification to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

Speaking ahead of the game, Armah insisted his side remains calm despite the pressure surrounding the playoff.

“We are calm, relaxed, and fully prepared for the game. We cannot underrate our opponents because they have Premier League experience, but we are focused and determined,” he said.

The Debibi United coach also admitted that although many people consider his side favourites for the clash, the team understands the task ahead will not be easy.

“On paper, people may see us as favourites, but we know the job is not done yet,” Armah added.

He further emphasized the team’s determination to secure promotion for their supporters and community.

“We will go all out for the win to honour the people of Debibi because they deserve Premier League football,” he concluded.

Debibi United qualified for the playoff after topping Zone One B with 60 points, while Tamale City booked their place after finishing first in Zone One A with 55 points.
