Ghanaian young-sensation Caleb Yirenkyi has been nominated for the 2025/26 Danish Superliga Player of the Season award following an impressive campaign with FC Nordsjælland.
The 20-year-old midfielder is among eight players shortlisted for the league’s biggest individual honour after emerging as one of the standout young performers in Denmark this season.
Yirenkyi will battle for the award against several top stars in the Danish Superliga, including Tobias Bech, Tonni Adamsen, Thomas Jørgensen, Franculino Djú, Gift Links, Patrick Pentz and Aral Şimşir.
The versatile middleman has enjoyed a breakthrough season for Nordsjælland, contributing two goals and six assists in 28 league appearances while consistently impressing with his energy, passing ability and creativity in midfield.
His performances have reportedly attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, with scouts closely monitoring his development ahead of the summer transfer window.
