The Black Starlets have officially started training in Morocco ahead of the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana’s delegation arrived in Casablanca on Wednesday, May 6, before travelling to Mohammedia, where the team is currently holding camp as preparations intensify for the continental tournament.

The technical team wasted no time in putting the players through their first training sessions as they continue working on the squad ahead of the competition. The team is later expected to move to Rabat, which will serve as Ghana’s base throughout the tournament.

The Black Starlets have been drawn in a difficult Group D alongside Senegal, South Africa and Algeria. Ghana will open their campaign against Algeria on May 14 before facing the remaining group opponents.

Despite the challenge ahead, the coaching staff remain confident the team will be fully prepared before the start of the competition.

The Black Starlets will head into the tournament hoping to make a strong impact as Ghana targets another successful campaign at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
