Turkish giants Trabzonspor are reportedly interested in signing Ghanaian attacker Joseph Paintsil in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old has impressed since joining LA Galaxy from KRC Genk in 2024, quickly establishing himself as one of the club’s most influential attacking players.
Since arriving in Major League Soccer, Paintsil has registered an impressive 33 goals and 13 assists in 81 appearances for the Galaticos, making him a key figure in the team’s attack.
Despite battling injuries earlier in the ongoing season, the 28-year-old has returned strongly and already has two goals and two assists in seven MLS appearances this campaign.
His recent performances have once again attracted attention from not only Trabzonspor but from some other clubs in Europe as well.
Trabzonspor are believed to view the winger as an important addition ahead of next season, although the Turkish side may have to spend heavily to secure his services as Paintsil remains under contract with LA Galaxy until 2027.
