‘I feel like we all need this extra this week.

‘I know we are all feeling a lot of emotions right now. That’s normal, and it would be weird if we weren’t. I know I’ve gone through about 10 cycles of sadness, rage, and stress—and that was just this morning.

‘I think it’s important to feel them all so they don’t fester inside.

‘One way I always make myself feel better is by harnessing that anger and sadness into creativity. I know that’s not for everyone. It can be really hard to create when things feel so uncertain.’

Harris waited until 4pm ET the day after the election to deliver her concession speech.

‘To my beloved Doug and our family, I love you so very much,’ she said to crowds gathered a her alma mater, Howard University.
