Sports journalist Saddick Adams has said that some of the players in the Black Stars are not delighted due to the terrible results the team has been churning out in recent times.

According to him, the recent turn of events in the team in terms of results has frustrated key players like Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, and Mohammed Kudus, thereby affecting the team’s performance.

The Angel FM sports journalist noted that this is the reason President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, chastised the players before their match against Sudan in the AFCON qualifiers.

Speaking on Sports Check on GhanaWeb TV, Saddick Adams bemoaned the challenges the team is facing.

“We saw Jordan, we have seen the frustration with Kudus, Partey, and there seems to be a lot of apprehension in the team. It is because they are not winning, that is why the GFA president blasted them, and you could see it in their facial expression. It tells you that they are not giving off their best and they are not happy playing for the national team,” he said.

His comments come on the back of attacks directed at the GFA following the Black Stars‘ abysmal performance in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

After four matches, Ghana are third in Group F with two points. Sudan are in second place with seven points, while Angola lead with twelve points.

Ghana must win against Niger and Angola and hope Sudan lose their remaining matches to secure qualification.
